Unconcern

Well I am always happy to be wrong. That was a nice thorough beatdown of a team that is a legit opponent. Not quite mid-major, but tournament-worthy and not at all a pushover. The zone looks like it is going to be an absolute menace this year. I loved how active it was. Even when the game was safely out of reach they were bringing the defensive pressure. (By the way, SU is currently forcing an average of about 30 turnovers per game.)

Also: Free Fries! Screw you Taco Time. Hanging a Benjamin on an unsuspecting puff opponent will always be the true signature of Syracuse hoops. Thank you Nick Resavy. This one felt like 1986 with the run and gun, keeping the hammer down relentlessly, obliterating a weaker foe, and walk-ons in the game with 5 minutes left. (Plus a Triche on the court.)

Will someone please stitch #13’s name on the back of his jersey though? How amateur does that look? Sheesh. I’d tell you who he is but he’s not currently listed on the official roster at SUAthletics.com. Go mystery guy!

See you at the Garden!

The mystery guy is ‘Griffin Hoffman’. Unfortunately, that’s all I know so far.
