…but the Post-Standard’s “news” front page has a blog post up with real details of Scoop Jardine’s situation. The information comes via court filings against a cousin of Jardine’s, one Robert Washington, who has been arraigned on a variety of charges stemming from a meal-card related incident. Allegedly, Washington ordered over $100 worth of food on a stolen meal card and the food was delivered to Jardine’s apartment. It’s unclear exactly how much Scoop knew about the plan and when he knew it. But at first glance, it seems like he had a very minor role in the whole thing. Let’s hope it gets resolved quickly, not just for basketball’s sake but for Antonio’s sake.

Anyone who’s seen the Entourage storyline where Dom from the old neighborhood in Queens comes out to visit in LA probably knows exactly how this whole thing went down…
I’m not sure if this is good news or bad news. This isn’t a “kicked off the team” type of offense, but it’s probably a multi-week suspension type offense. The question is, will it cover the rest of the season or just a portion?
Maybe his 40-yr old cousin should buy his own food the next time! Juz sayin…
Anyone going to the game on Sat.? See you there!
