All available credit goes to the Three Idiots for discovering this great article catching up with JB Reafsnyder, but I want to highlight it in this space as well because of the long-standing love of JB held by the Cuse Country community.
Many moons ago, in our high school era, several Cuse Country contributors made a personal good-bye video for our boy Tim (also a contributor), who was being dragged away from the beloved homeland thanks to a family move. The early 1990s home made-quality video — exquisitely titled Remember Syracuse or Die — was jazzed up considerably by a random appearance by Mr. Reafsnyder himself. If I remember correctly, JB, then a player on the team, happened to be jogging by during an outdoor filming session, and was nice enough to humor a bunch of 14-15 year-old nerds by saying a few things into the camera. To this day everyone appreciates his friendliness, and at the time we were awed by the coolness of capturing the attention of a big-shot SU basketball player.
According to the article, JB retired a while ago from an 8 year career playing pro-ball over in Europe, and has since graduated from law school. Now he’s starting a new career as a lawyer in Memphis, where he was just hired by Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs. It sounds like his life has been going really well since he left SU, and that’s good to hear. Congrats JB, from a group of guys still rooting for you.

Billy Celuck could only dream of carrying JB Reafsndyer’s gym bag.
Solid story - Billy always had Reafsnyder envy….speaking of which, we used to run into Billy in certain syracuse bars after games. Goofy in person too.
This probably should have been posted in the previous blog - but since you never look into the past on these internets:
